Itunes Does Not Allow Upload Despite Free Space

Hi CB. I'chiliad Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you lot.

Are you trying to practise this transfer via the Storage Settings equally those will non employ an External Bulldoze, only other Internal Drives. So an external bulldoze can mainly be used to offload files to storage, since you can't even move your User folders at that place like y'all tin can another internal bulldoze.

I volition give you steps to free up space on smaller drives and when necessary perform version Updates on them manually by the most stable method that requires much less space than Windows Update.

Kickoff hither are tips for managing smaller drives, including the 32-gb SSD which they should take never allowed Windows 10 be installed upon:
https://world wide web.theguardian.com/engineering science/askjack/...
https://www.pcworld.com/article/3040404/windows...
https://world wide web.groovypost.com/howto/maximize-stora...

As more space becomes needed, yous tin can move Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders into OneDrive so set them to Files On Need so they reside in the deject and only have download links on the PC:
https://world wide web.tenforums.com/tutorials/116029-turn...
https://www.pcworld.com/commodity/3233488/windows...

At that place'due south a way hither to do this with all the User folders I've been using for ten years to sync them via OneDrive to all my other devices:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

You tin besides offload User folders (Documents, Music, Pictures, etc) to another bulldoze you can install on the same PC (even in the DVD drive bay) as shown in this tutorial, which volition non affect speed if C is on an SSD and the other drive is non: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1964-motility-u.... I would not move apps or program files or speed will be affected.

You could also install a larger SSD/HDD. These are effectually $50 for 256gb and easy to install with videos online for near any PC model.

This should make enough space to install Windows Updates. Only I'd focus on the latest Version update since successfully installing it will bring along all Windows Updates and as well resolves almost all other problems since it reinstalls Windows keeping your files and programs in place.

Install the Media Cosmos Tool on some other PC to create bootable media or download the ISO to stick or disk, transfer information technology back to the target PC to open the media or click to mount the ISO, right click Setup file to Run as Administrator. This avoids needing the space to download the Upgrade and information technology'due south staging files. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-x/chiliad...

Another option is to practise the the best possible Clean Install in this link which will stay that style as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki....

This will give yous dorsum all but 15gb of the bulldoze.

There is besides an automated Fresh Commencement that reinstalls WIndows while shedding corrupting factory bloatware, saves your files, but doesn't clear the drive to go it cleanest: https://world wide web.howtogeek.com/265054/how-to-easily-...

I promise this helps. Feel free to inquire back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved

Skilful answer Greg, but I don't think that addresses the trouble.  I'm have the same issue, and it's unrelated to updating anything.

I'thousand trying to copy files from C: (1GB costless, 930GB used) to one of my other internal drives, D: (2.32TB free, one.31TB used).  D: checks out in drive management and seems normal otherwise.  I've never had an issue with this drive before at present.  Only at present, when I attempt to copy big files to D:, I go an error proverb D: capacity is 930GB and I need to free upwards infinite.  Everywhere else in win10, D: shows it's true capacity of 2.32TB free, correct up until I endeavour to copy a file to information technology, and then it gives the aforementioned error OP got that the drive is only 930GB.

I accept the same problem.  I want to move 115gb to D: that has 900gb open but it says I need 38gb more.  I am trying to copy OneDrive for Concern to my Personal OneDrive or just any file on my PC.

Worked like a charm for me!

Down in your arrangement tray (bottom right corner of the task bar) you should run across the OneDrive icon.  Click on the icon, click the "Iii Dot" menu and choose settings.  On the Account tab, there is an option to "Unlink this PC"  Click that and it should be fixed.  I did not have to reboot my organisation and everything worked fine
